Green Bay Packers
Not just a football team. A part of the community.
The Green Bay Packers are one of the most storied franchises in the NFL, solidifying 13 championship wins. Despite Green Bay being the smallest community in the league, there is no lack of enthusiasm, support, and love for this team. The Green Bay Packers are owned by shareholders – the fans – rather than a single owner. That “community team” mindset creates an amazing bond that permeates through all aspects of the community.
A Storied Team
Most will say that game day in Green Bay is like no other. Tailgating, parking on Lambeau Field neighborhood front lawns, festive activities, taking in the famous fences that line Lombardi Ave., and so much more. Historic Lambeau Field has become a destination for football fans, no matter their team affiliation, because of its history and the sense of community that is apparent before and during gameday.
Those same voices would also say that preseason activities are just as special and unique to this historic team. From fans showing up in droves to watch the practices, kids of all ages lining up with their bikes in hopes of being selected by a player or coach to have their bike being rode to the practice field, or opportunities to interact with players through various community and private events, the Packers organization understands that its commitment to the community extends far beyond the football field.
Community Involvement
The Green Bay Packers organization is deeply rooted in the community. In and around the area, you’ll find numerous examples of how the organization and its personnel have touched the lives of so many through its different initiatives, programs, grants, and time donated.
- Green Bay Packers GiveBack: A community outreach initiative tied to the Green Bay Packers Foundation which supports charities throughout the area and state of Wisconsin.
- Mentor/Protégé program: This program pairs emerging Wisconsin businesses (protégés) with established, knowledgeable and committed companies (mentors) to help provide exposure, resources, and guidance to reach the next level of business growth.

If you’re looking for a year-round fun spot to engage with other Packers fans, participate in activities, workout, live, or work, look no further than the Titletown District.
