De Pere – East

De Pere

Because the river flows through De Pere, the city has developed two dynamic and thriving communities with distinct downtowns, school districts, businesses, neighborhoods and amenities.

The river that flows through De Pere is also a great metaphor for our evolving community. We are mindful of maintaining our down-to-earth and engaging community spirit as a midsized city and a family favorite. We love our 138-year-old Union Hotel supper club on Friday nights and 122-year-old Seroogy’s Chocolates (dare we say, every day?) and we’re home to today’s must-haves. These include small-scale coffee houses, a gelato bar, yoga studios artisan shops and other amenities that make everyday life just that much better. One big up-and-comer: The much-anticipated Mulva Cultural Center to showcase the world’s finest traveling exhibits, anticipated for 2023. We also host several live music venues and foodie walks, art walks, sip and shop opportunities to get to know the cultural and food diversity options available in the community.

The river is also a favorite backdrop to much of our passion for the outdoors: boaters traveling aboard the River-Tyme, ice fishing for walleye or Fox River Trail walks along stretches of wildflowers. Let’s not forget the Fox River Trail alongside the river; a paved, year-round-maintained trail favored by bicyclists, walkers, runners and inline skaters. And our 21-acre Voyageur Park along the riverfront in the center of De Pere is also home to premier urban condos, whereas the rest of the community offers a variety of other condominiums, apartments and both starter homes and growing subdivisions of new homes. These include another luxury downtown apartment mirroring the 102 on Broadway along the Fox River, apartments in a refurbished former foundry that retain their industrial vibe and single-family homes in an increasing number of family-friendly subdivisions popping up.
