Position Summary: Green Bay Area Public Schools have openings for Special Education Teachers to join our diverse schools. The successful candidate will work closely with a collaborative team of educators and will be involved in ongoing assessment and adjustment of educational programs.
Essential Job Functions:
Provide tailored academic and behavioral support to students with special education needs.
Develop and implement differentiated curriculum and instructional techniques to meet the varied learning levels of students.
Manage and adapt plans as necessary to address evolving classroom dynamics.
Collaborate with in-district and out-of-district service providers to ensure comprehensive support for students.
Complete Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) accurately and in a timely manner.
Oversee and monitor student interventions, ensuring their effectiveness and appropriateness.
Monitor, assess, and adjust educational programs and interventions throughout the school year.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university.
Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction Certification in Cross Categorical K-12 certification or willing to obtain.

Ability to differentiate instructional methods to meet diverse learning needs.
Flexibility and adaptability in managing classroom and student needs.
Strong collaborative skills for working with a team and coordinating with various service providers.
