Seura is looking for a Sales Support Intern who will be part of a dynamic team. Your main responsibilities will be processing orders and project follow-up. This role involves organizational skills and requires high attention to detail. This position will be part-time during the school year and full-time during the summer months. Additionally, this role completes the processing of payments and assists the customer with requesting shop drawings, and Purchase Order processing. This is a great entry point for learning about customer service, cross-departmental project management, and business.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Processes purchase orders (PO) through production, shipment, and delivery.
Responsive to sales team email communication to ensure timely responses on tracking and updates.
Triage incoming sales calls for accurate order updates to provide quality customer support.
Ensure payment and approval documentation is obtained and on track to meet customer’s delivery dates.
Handles follow-ups with internal departments and customers to allow for proactive issue resolution and to ensure customer satisfaction.
Assist with maintaining accurate information in the CRM database for quality discussions to engage with customers’ current and future needs.
Coordinate with finance to resolve outstanding balances to ensure we manage any financial concerns that would cause shipment delays.
· Act as a liaison between customers and the Production floor and other departments within the company.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
· High School Diploma
· Demonstrated proficiency with a computer and various database programs, including Microsoft Excel
· Enrolled in higher education working towards a business or finance degree.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK: During the school year Part-Time and schedule TBD. Summer office hours for this position are Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with occasional overtime as required to meet the needs of our customers and business associates.
