Village of Bellevue

Suburban lifestyle on the edge of the city

The Village of Bellevue is a village in transition, open land interspersed with big draws such as Target, Costco and Starbucks (all in eyesight of each other). Bellevue’s motto is “A great place to grow,” and that is true not only for businesses but residents as well. Bellevue has room to stretch and build new developments even as it works hard to maintain its small-town atmosphere. The community is filled with neighborhoods where kids jump in the leaves in the fall and sled in local parks in the winter, and where families greet spring by firing up their grills and hauling out the bicycles and long-lit summer nights are filled with the sounds of children playing in backyards. Josten Park is a popular gathering place, be it for family sledding night, Easter Egg Bonanza or music concerts. Take in the outdoor beauty at Osprey Point, an 80-acre conservancy area featuring two ponds (bring your fishing pole!), walking and hiking trails, an Osprey nesting area and an abundance of wildlife.

Foodies “beware;” the village boasts some amazing cuisine at the likes of A’Bravo (which tops many of its desserts with homemade cotton candy making it a fan favorite for kids of all ages) and Plae Bistro, a neighborhood bistro and bar that even guests from larger metropolitan markets rave about.
